Celestron 21035 Travel Scope 70

Celestron 21035 Travel Scope 70

Next telescope in the best telescopes for around £50 is this one from Celestron.

Celestron Travel Scope

This telescope is the most expensive but it has the most features. It is a refractor telescope with a slightly smaller 2.76 inch diameter aperture. This telescope is aimed for people that want to travel with the scope. It comes with a travel bag and is easy to carry around. There is also a tripod and planetarium software included. The tripod is reported as being a bit too wobbly for star gazing. This is really its main downfall. The tripod would need replacing for something more sturdy and unlike the other three telescopes here you can't put it on a sturdy table instead.

Like the Skywatcher Infinity the image is corrected so things appear the right way up which makes observing and locating objects easier and allows the scope to be used for non-astronomical observing.

This scope comes with 20mm and 10mm eyepieces. These provide 20x and 40x magnification.
