Tour the Virgo Cluster

Tour the Virgo Cluster

Virgo is high in our skies at the moment in the northern hemisphere. The constellation is well known for it's enormous number of observable galaxies. Very close to the constellation of Virgo is an area of space that contains the Virgo Galactic Cluster this cluster has no less than 13 messier objects and a few more messier objects are located nearby too.

The Virgo cluster contains around 2,000 galaxies and is part of the Virgo Supercluster that contains our own Local Group of galaxies too. So sit back and enjoy a tour around the cluster by the video from Rhysy who has an excellent blog at Astrorhysy.

Enjoy
